Do you ever go into deep contemplation and suddenly realize you’re thinking out loud? I’m always grateful I work alone when this happens. Although, the dog looks at me kinda funny, and my parrot asks, “What’s up with that?”
She makes me laugh.
And that’s a good thing. Silly bird.
Someone Needs to Think About This Wierd Stuff
It might as well be me.
Intentions.
They’re sometimes funny things — wouldn’t you agree?
To become fulfilled, they need to be strong and outweigh so many other emotions and actions.
Some intentions are born into this world, with the odds seemingly stacked against them. And yet, we push them valiantly through to a win. While others seem like a shoo-in but they wither and die almost immediately.
Something like overwhelm can nip the best of intentions in the bud.
So What Was it THIS Time?
This time, I’d intended to re-work a piece I wrote — a short story about a challenging experience I went through 20 years ago. I mentioned it last post.
I still want to do it, but I’d planned to do it IN November — the month of the experience’s 20th anniversary. The re-working and editing might be therapeutic for me and helpful for someone else.
An Insanely Busy Time of Year — Wrapping it Up
There’s just been too much going on. This time of year — so many things to wrap up — other than gifts! Time to bring one set of expectations, ideas, tasks, and goals to a close — possibly refaming them going forward — so we may bring another goal-set into the light of our hope for the future.
I’ve got some heavy-duty client work this month I’m trying to finish. And I’m attempting to look over my Wins for the year and evaluate where I need course corrections. I also ended up with…
